Marketing site

The GameBoardLab marketing website does not use Google Analytics, ad pixels, or third-party tracking scripts. Basic traffic counts come from Cloudflare's privacy-friendly built-in analytics.

Download clicks may be routed through a first-party redirect so we can count releases at the product level without building a user profile.

GoReview app

GoReview is a local-first Go (Baduk / Weiqi) review app for macOS, iPhone, and iPad. Your data stays on your device. GoReview does not collect or transmit your personal information to servers operated by GameBoardLab.

Data storage

All data is stored locally on your device using SQLite, including game records (SGF files), AI analysis results, and user preferences. No data transfers to GoReview servers.

iCloud sync

When iCloud sync is enabled, game records and analysis back up to your personal iCloud account via Apple's infrastructure. This data is encrypted by Apple and only accessible with your Apple ID. GameBoardLab does not have access to your iCloud data.

OGS integration

The app optionally connects to Online Go Server (OGS) through OAuth authorization. Your OGS access token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. Game records fetch from the OGS public API without transmitting through GoReview servers. You can disconnect at any time from in-app settings.

AI analysis

All AI analysis runs on-device using KataGo with Apple CoreML on iPhone / iPad and KataGo with Metal acceleration on Mac. No game data is sent to external servers for analysis.

In-app purchases

GoReview Premium purchases are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store. GameBoardLab does not collect payment information.

Third-party services

The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking services, and no third-party SDKs that collect user data.

Clipboard access

GoReview reads the clipboard only when you explicitly tap "Import from Clipboard" to detect SGF content. Clipboard data is never transmitted beyond that import action.

Children's privacy

GoReview does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not require account creation or personal data input.
